About Us
Our Mission
To promote a community that is entirely inclusive, accepting, and aware of people with autism.
Our Story

Project A.U.T.I.S.M. was founded in 2019 by Cooper Bond, a 15-year-old boy in pursuit of completing a simple school project. Cooper's younger brother, Brady, has an Autism Spectrum Disorder. When Cooper and Brady were young, they did everything together. As they grew up, Cooper began to witness first hand autism’s effect on a community. Luckily, both he and his family had always been welcomed into positive and accepting communities. However, this was not the case for the majority of people around the world.
In different ways and to different degrees, people in many countries view autism as a source of disappointment, annoyance, shame or worse. Around the world, the autism stigma keeps children from participating fully in their communities and from enjoying the same quality of life as their friends and family. At age 15, Cooper decided enough was enough and that was when Project A.U.T.I.S.M. was born.

Our Founder
Cooper Bond is the founder and president of Project A.U.T.I.S.M. The Detroit, Michigan native created the organization to help those with autism, like his younger brother, feel more accepted and included in their communities. Cooper has received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award on numerous occasions for his outstanding impact on the community. He is also involved in public speaking, giving presentations at his school to inform classmates about autism. He is currently a sophomore at the International Academy in Bloomfield Hills.
